Department: PUNJAB HOUSING & TOWN PLANNING AGENCY, LAHORE

1. Deputy Director (Engg) (On Contract basis for a period of 03 years)

• Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
• Domicile: Any District of the Province of Punjab
• Place of Posting: PHATA Punjab

Age: Male: 21 to 45 years, Female: 21 to 48 years Education & Experience: B.Sc. (Engg) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the relevant field. Preference will be given to candidates with M.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil (18 years education) and three years’ experience in the relevant field.

Note:

• Valid Permanent Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) issued on or before the closing date is required.
• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification shall be considered.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test (if held): The written test will consist of one paper MCQ type test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. The questions will be related to the candidate’s qualification (80%) and general ability (20%), covering topics such as General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, English, Basic Mathematics, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.

2. Security Supervisor (On Regular Basis)

• Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis
• Place of Posting: PPSC Head Office Lahore and its Regional Offices

Age: Male: 25 to 50 years, Female: 25 to 53 years Education & Experience: A retired Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of armed forces. If a Junior Commissioned Officer is not available, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission with five years’ experience in a reputed Security Agency.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test (if held): The written test will be an MCQ type General Ability test of 100 marks, lasting 90 minutes. It will cover topics such as General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.

3. Protocol Officer/Assistant Director (Security) (On Regular Basis)

• Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis
• Place of Posting: PPSC, Head Office, Lahore

Age: Male: 25 to 50 years, Female: 25 to 53 years Education & Experience: Candidates should have either a B.A or B.Sc (Second Division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission with five years’ experience in the line; OR be a retired armed forces officer equivalent to the rank of Captain or above.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test (if held): The written test will be an MCQ type General Ability test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. It will cover topics such as General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.

4. Support Officer (On Contract basis for a period of 03 years)

• Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis
• Place of Posting: PPSC Head Office Lahore and its Regional Offices

Age: Male: 21 to 35 years, Female: 21 to 38 years Education & Experience: Candidates should possess an M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology (Second division) or B.Sc. (four years) in Computer Science or Information Technology (first division or grade-B) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University by the Higher Education Commission. Additionally, candidates should have one year’s experience in the field of Computer Networking, along with MCSE or CCNA training.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test (if held): The written test will be an MCQ type General Ability test of 100 marks, lasting 90 minutes. It will consist of questions related to qualification, experience, and training (as per service rules) – 80%, and general ability topics such as General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science – 20%.

Note:

• Age and sex of transgender candidates will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
• In case of a large number of applications, shortlisting may be done based on academic records or through a one paper MCQs type written test.
